Busy time…

I’ve done some updates to the badges applications – adding the additional special awards, etc., but this summer has been hectic – especially the last two weeks, as I hiked Kings Peak (highest point in Utah!) with my son and his Varsity Team, then took the family to WoodBadge (with Family Odyssey – a new family program for the family while one parent goes to WoodBadge – excellent program!)

I’ve got a few more fun things in mind for the apps, and for some new apps to come…

That sounds awesome. I just found your cool application for BoyScouts and was just starting to use it as I worked with the BoyScouts. This last Sunday I was just called as Cubmaster for our LDS pack and I am looking all over for something similar to your Troop Badges but for Cubscouts. Have you heard of anything? Thanks.

Your Boy Scout apps look SO polished! And handy, lol! Do you plan to make similar apps for Cub Scouts, too?

@Emily @Jeff Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad the app is handy! :-) I’ve done work on a Badges app for Cubs, but it isn’t ready for prime time yet. So many projects, so little time. Hopefully I’ll have something to announce soon.

Count me in as someone who is looking for a Cub Scout version of your Badges app. It would be perfect! Let me know if you need a tester for a beta version… I’ve been considering writing my own but would MUCH rather help someone test theirs! Thanks for your time.

Excellent. If you need any testers I would be happy to help. I recently enrolled in the Apple / iPhone developer program so I have access to tools and SDK updates that might be needed.

I, as well, am looking for a Cub Scout version of the app. Hopefully not too much longer! Thank you!

I’m very pleased to announce that the Cub Scout version of the app is available now! It’s called Pack Badges, and is available in the App Store for both iPad and iPhone.

Please let me know how you like it, if you have any suggestions, and leave a review & rating on the App store! (Especially if you like it! *grin* And if you don’t like it, let me know how I can fix it!)
